RUTH LLUÍS

Pianist, original idea

Ruth Lluís, Catalan pianist based in Switzerland, is the visionary founder of this project.

After performing and recording many of the most important works in the classical, barroc, romantic, spanish and contemporary repertoire, both as a soloist and in chamber music, she decided to take a break in order to give space to a creation that she felt was blossoming inside of her. During that break, an abstract idea started to take form, which finally became Cosmic Bach.

Her way of performing, with her beautiful, clear and robust sound, which is at the same time sweet and sensitive, makes our soul and senses vibrate.

“This project is a result of a silent internal ripening. It arises from a profound connection to J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations and an internal necessity to share my personal understanding of this piece with others.
It’s a performance that flows and changes alongside my way of playing and understanding it.” - Ruth

The sensitivity of Ruth Lluís combined with the extraordinary technique that she displayed in her interpretation was extremely vast.
